After completing a residential inpatient program, many clients opt to enter an intensive outpatient program. The purpose of this program is to continue treatment, while allowing the client to reenter the community and reconnect with family and friends.
In outpatient aftercare, the client is privy to most of the benefits of residential inpatient treatment, including individual therapy and counseling, group therapy, holistic treatments and professional guidance.
A Transition From Inpatient Treatment To Aftercare
After an inpatient stay, transition back into the community can be difficult. We strive to make it as seamless and as comfortable as possible for both the client and his/her family and friends.
Clients and their families will work on the following essential areas during outpatient treatment:
- Relapse prevention
- Addiction education
- Triggers and Coping Mechanisms
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Awareness and Meditation
- Career/Job Skills
- Stress Management
- Building Healthy Relationships
Many clients also do better in a sober living environment after discharge. Sober housing options offer a safe haven where clients can begin to re-engage with others without fear of exposure to substances.
Just Believe Recovery is affiliated with a number of sober living facilities, can can provide referrals and transition to these homes as needed. Clients are encouraged to take advantage of sober living while they are completely outpatient treatment.
